The Netherlands are traditionally successful at the “red dot award: product design”. In the year 2011 alone, 46 winning products received this unique distinction. On 7 September 2011, the exhibition “design at the border”, an exciting confrontation of Dutch and German designs that have been awarded with the red dot, opens in Eindhoven.

In a nearly four-week exhibition in Eindhoven: From 7 September to 9 October 2011, Netherland`s best products will be presented,
but also confronted with German products in a fascinating way. The question for the future is: ‘How can they learn from each other, how to break new ground together and not just share the same border being partner countries?’
